Advice on 2003 civic
Hello all, recently my car had been having some puddles under it and I usually am pretty good about finding leaks and what not so i took it to a local CarX garage to have them put dye in it for me and what not. Well needless to say it lit up like a Christmas tree. i will upload a copy of the quotes they gave me. They want about 750 for every thing to be done but obviously i know that i can do most of this myself. i just want to see what you guys think about the degree of difficulty of what is shown, thanks!
You could easily do everything on that list except the crankshaft seal, let them do that. Since they have to take the timing belt off to change that seal might as well have them do the timing package as well (timing belt, tensioner and water pump).
Also, the EX has an aluminum oil pan that uses liquid gasket instead of a regular gasket like the steel pan on the LX and DX.
