We expect people to put in a modicum of effort around here. It's pretty clear you haven't, but you're new, so I'll be nice.
First off, start by reading this. The rules are not optional.

Then, read this. The FAQ sticky will answer your question 9 times out of 10, and does in fact contain the answer to your question.

Once you've gone through those, you'll find your answer in this thread.

I would also highly recommend buying (or downloading, we won't judge) the FSM for your car. It's the book the techs use to do work like this. It will have the most detailed write-up for you.

I was obviously pretty clear of what I am in need of, your post was about a swap, but I thank you for the help. Just need to know what I need to do to change the head gasket on my D16y8 engine is all. Can upload pics etc... Just let me know
Gotcha, so you're an idiot. OK, nice is done.
Use your ******* brain, for two ******* seconds. Click the links I spoon-fed you, and put in just a modicum of thought. When you replace a head gasket, what's major step 1?
Removing the head.
When you do a mini-me, what's the major step 1?
Removing the head.
There is absolutely nothing stopping you from following the exact mini-me swap guide I spoon fed you to accomplish your goals. Not a single ******* thing stopping you. Pull your head out of your own ***, and use your ******* brain.
I also gave you a second option - downloading the FSM for your car. Is Google broken for you? Are you incapable of searching for it? Or are you just too ******* lazy to? We aren't here to spoon feed information to you. What you need is readily available, and easily found. Unfuck yourself.

I like that you were nice at first for a change NARC
But seriously OP the procedure for removal is the same whether you're converting or not. Follow the link provided and installation is reverse (it's really straight forward). The only thing worth noting is to pay attention to the order of the head bolt removal/install. Not sure if that's covered in the link but it's covered in the FSM.
PS
FSM is something you definitely want.

I always try to be nice to brand new members. 9 times out of 10, they turn out to be entitled, ignorant *********, but I still give all new members a shot.
Far from ignorant my friend, just need direct details is all, I have never worked on Honda usually I work on Chevys..but another thing you did not state from what I was told by a Honda dealer technician is, they said I needed to take off crankshaft pully bolt to do a complete head gasket Change ? Is this correct or no ?

Now talk to me like a real man with some damn manners! You understand me BOY!?!! If not get off my post
you, sir, are retarded. i have rebuilt dozens of d series engines, and done i have no idea how many head gaskets. at this point, they take me about an hour. since you're a mechanical genius, and a chevy guy, you should be MORE than capable of tearing down this measly little honda. wait- im more annoyed with you than i originally thought. **** your shitty attitude, **** your lazy can't google face, **** your inability to browse the FAQ section, which contains a write up that not only spells out what you need to do, but panders to your low iq by providing pictures, and most of all- **** you.
Google 98-00 FSM Ab0ve

It will be your bible and will step you step by step through a head gasket or just about anything else you might want.
