lsv headgasket?

Default lsv headgasket?

i have a quick question i have an lsvtec b1 block took off the head and bought a b16 head gasket but it doesnt look the same as the old gasket in one corner so im confuse does that make a difference or can i still use it??? any info would help thanks.

You're new, so I'll hold your hand through this one. In the future, though, the FAQ and rules stickies exist for a reason. You are expected to put in a modicum of effort before posting. It's quite clear that you did not.

First, we'll start off with the FAQ sticky itself.

Now, within that stickied thread, if you search (ctrl+f) for "ls-vtec", you find this thread, very easily.

Now within that thread, ctrl+f again, and type "head gasket". Only two results, one telling you specifically which head gasket you should have bought. Hint: Ya dun goof'd. According to that thread, you should be using an LS head gasket.
