Sup ht. So I picked up a 93 civic si not to long ago. The previous owner had hacked up the dash harness and the door harness. The car was originally wired for power windows and speakers. I bought a new dash harness and door harness off of a 95 civic ex. Some of the plugs on the door harness aren't matching up. Is this plug n play or will I have to swap some things from the ex to the SI?

 

Bump! Can I just use the whole harnnss from the ex?

 

I would suggest you find the exact donor car to do this properly. If your adventurous, you can probably cut the plugs you need and run the wires yourself. Just need some patience, time, some electrical experience and you'll get through the wiring.

 

Is it not possible to use the ex harnnss? The original harness that came with the car is pretty hacked up. I'm not comfortable with using it at all. It looks like almost all the plugs on the ex dash harness match up except 1 or 2

 

Donor car has to be exact, if you're having a hard time just installing the ex harness than that tells you that they are not the same.
