i just did Z6 swop and the thermostat temperature sensor keeps shutting the engine off and its not even hot or at normal temp. i no that the sensor is still good cuz put the D15B ECU on and it starts right up. so i dont no what to do.

 

The fan switch on the thermostat housing would not shut the engine off.

it not the fen switch it the temperature switch cuz it well run then just shut out after a lil bit

 

This thread is locked if you don't add car information. There is no ECT sensor on the T-stat housing. It's below the distributor.

What makes you think the ECT sensor is the problem?

 

there a sensor that control how hot it gets and it well shut off the engine if it thanks its 2 hot. i thank its the sensor cuz i just shuts off for no reason and it really sudden
