Well i cant find one on ebay right now.
I agree that the DC2 clear tail lights look like **** imo!
These on the other hand actually look nice with the 1 piece clear JDM head lights. But im a DC2 fan.
These are i guess you can say rare because you can't find these for sale online, Theres one on ebay that went for $275 and he claimed they were rare too.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/191411191095
As far as stanley not sure.
This guy claims his clear tail lights are RARE too in his parts description on this link i found. But it depends on what kind of rare..
Rare because eBay ran out of them. Definitely the 03 throwback. These were about as cool as altezzas back in the day. Not made by Stanley. Came in a box from Taiwan. Someone on g2ic had some for sale for a stupid price like 500. Not worth 100, but I guess I'm old and remember them brand new for $75. If it was something quality like the discontinued rsr exhaust, fine, pay more. But for something less than oem quality, I dunno. A sucker born every day though.
You remind me of the guys still wearing fubu/exco jerseys and long baggy jean shots from the early 2000's you're way behind its a dead "fad", gtfo with that junk.

That's pretty sad you actually know that brand, I was taking a guess as it's before my time.... it's not even a "real word" it's acronyms. Says the broke looser in his mid/late 20's who still plays with old **** boxes, have a look around my build threads are posted here. Best part is I finished them before I was 20. Buy your little tail lights and run them on your car, the fact you're considering them says a lot about what else is on it. Some random who knows nothing always try's to start stuff on threads like this especially, by the way you forgot the commas on all the words requiring them along with punctuation go back to adult learning bud.
Lmao you call me on spelling and then put two N's in "talking".... i'm done you ******* looser get a life.

To the OP: The tails aren't made by stanley. Most likely taiwan made, distributed by APC or TYC before they focused on making OEM replacement lights. Like others said, the reason they're rare is because no one makes them anymore. Although I wouldn't be surprised if someone made these clear style lights again due to their recent increase in popularity.

They are rare because I don't believe they were legal in any state/country. I remember kids in high school getting these and getting pulled over and having to get red reflective stickers to be legal. I'm sure technology has improved, but when they were new I never saw a set that didn't look pink when the lights were on. I think most were custom painted to make them look legal. They are a lot cleaner than Euro's but not sure if people still get pulled over for that kinda stuff.
