i'm in limp mode
i'm in limp mode....
i have a 94 hb with a jdm b16 (2nd gen)
i'm getting codes 7 and 14
which are the tps and idle air control valve
how do i get out of limp mode?
any suggestions on how to fix this
do i need a new trottle body?
i changed the tps because it was broken does this change the factory settings that come with it? and would this cause i the IACV to get me a code too?

anytime you change bad sensors ALWAYS reset the ECU so it can erase it, otherwise it will think it's still bad, it's kinda dumb in that way. Pull off your IACV and clean out the screen and spray some carb cleaner inside and so if that fixes it. When these go out, it's mostly due to deposits on the screen which restrict air flow to the intake manifold.

and that didn't help? No, changing your throttle body won't do anything because the IACV lets air bypass the TB and go right into the manifold. If that didn't work then you're gonna have to get a new/used one.
