4-1 or 4-2-1
4-1 is better for top end, but any decent 4-2-1 will give a 4-1 a run for it's money. It has a low bling factor, but you can't go wrong with DC 4-1. Not only that, but Dynamic Autosports has done some dyno tests and have shown no adverse effects on torque numbers with a 4-1 versus a 4-2-1.

B16 gets its power in the higher rpm range so go with the 4-1. When you run the quarter, you only pass through the lower rpm's once. Then you shift from about 9 to 6 k where the 4-2-1 won't do good. I guess if you never floor it and just go from stoplight to stoplight, get the 4-2-1. If you want drag race or be fast in the power range of the b16, get the 4-1.

over stock, on my old B16A, my old DC 4-1 (USDM collector) made more horsepower EVERYWHERE on the dyno! More mid-range and more TOP end!
But, if I were to do it again, I'd save up and get the DC 4-1 w/JDM 2.5" collector!
......IMHO it's not worth getting a header unless it has a 2.5" collector.
