Default JDM Front End Question - yes I have done a search :)

Okay I have done a search and cant find an answer to my question, if there is one someone please point me there. Anyway I live in Australia and I am keen for a JDM front end conversion and have found Headlights, Fenders, Bonnet, Bumper and Radiator Support at an Overseas wrecker for all up $750US plus shipping.

Now firstly is there any parts I need other than this? Secondly what is involved in doing one of these conversions? Is it a bolt on affair or is cutting and welding required?

Thanks in advance

There is welding involved with the radiator support.

Cutting and welding of the front radiator support is needed. but i have heard of people modding the usdm radiator support to make both jdm and usdm fronts fit correctly but it is hard work.

Because I would be buying the parts from a wrecker and not from a shop will it become prettyobvious the modification required? I have some experience with tuning engines but I admit I am a dunce when it comes to panel work

Some places have been bolting on the rad support instead of welding however I don't know how well it does.

Okay dont suppose anyone has ever done a DIY Article on it listing all of the parts and the steps required? It seems that a stack of people in the US are doing the conversion (very few over here) but I cant track down any information on the work involved.................
