Default New to Honda drag cars

Hope this is the right thread for this if not sorry in advance. I'm

New to this whole Honda thing. I have a question and my answers have been all over the place. But I picked this up and has Ferrea valve train, ross pistons, crower cams, eagle rods and crank. RC injectors, AEM cam gears. ACT 6 puck clutch. Can't remember what fly-wheel is. Could be stock. Might of put in fidanza fly-wheel. Super Afc V-tec controler. 15:1 compression. Last dyno run was 225hp. Ran 12.2 in Colorado. He gets it going easy low 11s high 10 in indy. The fuel pump is fryed and ordered a new one today. It needs new plexiglass and tires. What do you think this is worth running? Thank you!

Absolutely, run it have fun and get some seat time. You setup is a little outdated with 15.1 compression you should be making a lot more HP, so I wouldn't try to be too competitive with it, but in the mean time get her running and race yourself for a personal best. Then just upgrade as things start to wear, and you become more comfortable behind the wheel.

Whatever you can pry out of someones hands. My guess, somewhere between $1200 and $2000.
Too far gone to be anything but a race car so your resale market is kinda slim.

My apologies, it came off as he was just getting in the game asking if it was worth running on the track. Otherwise, I would do a testing waters in the for sale thread.

I would say that is a fun car, but throw a real header on there and retune on something with full capability instead of the afc, to get full advantage of the build.

Did PFI build the motor, as I recognize the trans am, so I assume that is Brent's place.
