Fire Damage repairable?
So recently my garage caught fire, flames got on to my civic and destroyed the front end from the dash to the bumper. Has anyone ever rebuilt after fire damage? Or is this just a goner? I am willing to sell it at a low price if anyone want to pick it up and use it for drag racing(I imagine it won't be too hard to convert it to that after this happened). The insurance kind of wants this out of the drive way so they can have the construction company come in and demolish the garage and start taking out drywall inside.
Thanks
Thanks
Garage caught fire, no I don't live in a crackhead town like that with meth heads. Whole house is messed up from smoke damage, not to mention some thieves broke in to the house and stole stuff. But I figured its gone, guess Ill save what I can like the rims.
I don't see any mention of crack-town, hes surprised you're even asking.
Despite what some think, fire CAN melt steel (or change it enough to make it brittle and unusable, unable to sustain a load)
Take the insurance check and let them have it. Look on Craigslist and get another one.
Good luck, and sorry for your losses!

Adding up the cost to get things that are popping up in my head, even though I can't see clearly what the heck is need in those pic's, I'd say its better to cut your losses.
