Default ls turbo bogging problem

Got a 2001 integra ls turbo charged. Recently bought the car with the kit installed already. Was told there is a bogging problem. Bogs right about 4k rpm, then boost kicks in and bogs again at 6k rpm. Any thoughts on what is causing to bog?

So so many things can do this. What are the mods? Injectors? Fule pump? Was it tuned by a ebay fairy that never even seen the car?
Did the car ever run right after turbo?

Not tuned yet. Car seems to be running fine to me besides the bogging. Maybe it needs bigger injectors or aftermarket fuel pump. Thanks for the tips. I'll have to check them out.

Sooo you have a N.A engine with a aftermarket turbo system installed on it and its not tuned and your still wondering why it doesn't run right?

You say it seems to be running fine? But it bogs at 4k and then 6K..

What ecu are you running this engine with??

What injectors? stock?

If its not tuned thats your MAIN problem, get yourself a aftermarket EMS to tune the engine if you don't already have one. You will need a aftermarket fuel pump and injectors at the very least. Take it to a good tuner and dyno tune the engine before it blows.

I guess you have a point here. I was just trying to pin point the problem. Car seems to run and drive fine if i don't beat on the car. But from your guys info, I might have more than one problem here. I was told the ECU was set up for turbo. Will have to take a step at a time

Buying into a problematic turbo normally N.A motor is learning things the hard way. You'll have to learn fast.
God knows what ecu you have and what bs tune it has.
There's tons and tons online to read and learn.
Check your fule system and see what ecu you have.
It needs a good tune. No online turbo ready bs.

Sounds like either it has a base map or it has some sort of tune. Your probrally going rich at those rpm's, this is why its good to invest in a AFR gauge.
Take it to a tuner and have him take a look.

it probs has a mugen power chip y0 rare and jay de em as ****, even a basemap from a reputable tuner isn't meant to go driving the car around on merely to get it from your house/shop to the dyno that's it.

Sounds like a fuel problem, not getting enough fuel.
