the s300 v2 im using is in an unmarked obd1 ecu looks like someone took the sticker off, trying to figure out what ecu it is. i get error for knock sensor and in the help it says some odb1 dont have the knock sensor processing daughter board, in misc. ive just disabled the sensor and its been fine for over a year now but i did put a new KS on the engine(b18c1) when i first did the swap, and it be nice to use it. i believe i need to get an obd1 p72 socket-ed for s300 to get it working, but would still like to know what i got
If you're talking about the sticker on the side of the case. The ecu is also marked inside. Just take the top of the case off. It's on the white lable on top of the plugs. (PCX on this ECU)
i still see some white on the edge where the plugs sticker would be. try taking the board out of the case. mabye theres still some of the conector sticker under the metal that can be read.
There is no daughter board for the knock sensor in that ECU... so it is essentially a "P28" or modified derivative like a PO6. I also see that your Evap/Purge circuit is damaged, so you will not be able to use an electronic boost controller on that circuit (A20). Using a P72 ECU, you will be able to utilize the Knock sensor if you so choose.
alright thank you, just about answered everything. previous owner had a ghetto wire tucked harness on this ecu and swapped the iat/purge and burned it. im getting a p72 and will be sellin this one, thanks again. "essentially a "P28" or modified derivative like a PO6"
