Default B20B identicfication...

I bought this from a local importer and was told it was a B20B 9.2:1 compression motor. When i looked up the date codes and head number though i cant decypher it. the four circles above exhaust manifold that should be date codes are 66 09 10 7. The 9 is clearly marked with a under line to show its a 9 and not a 6. The head is a P75-2. Can any one tell me what year, compression ratio, and possibly even what it came out of? Thanks in advance for the help.

do you have a knock sensor? if not it's the "lower" compression if yes it's the "higher" compression. generally the 9:6.1 is the most expensive so I hope you paid for what you got

you can also check the intake cam to see if its a p75 making it a "high" compression but as said usually looking for the knock sensor is the quick way to do it.

It does have the knock sensor in back of the block, and the head is a p75-2, paid $450 for it, but i was wondering if its a 9.2:1 or 9.6:1 ratio, tried looking it according to those block stamps... thats where i got lost at. Kinda new to the honda/Acura scene got this in febuary for mpgs cause i built my titans motor and get about 13mpg average. This will be my first swap, the guy before me screwed up about everything on the motor and suspention, I put function form type 2s on it, brand new bushings, ball joints, everything under the car is new as when i got it all was ruined. So i figured id put a new motor in, b20 has 60k miles, competion clutch and lightweight flywheel, and aluminum radiator. Have all those parts for the swap now but i work 7 days a week so im waiting on a time to do it.
