I recently got the opportunity to try out these new TruHART StreetMAX coil overs. If you haven’t checked out the TruHART line of parts i highly recommend doing so. I decided to go with their products because I’ve heard nothing but good things. I have their whole line of suspension components on my semi built civic. Everything is solid and well built. So why not try out the coil overs for my daily.

Of course customer service is second to none. Shipping only took two days! At this point i was very excited to see these new coil overs in person!


First impression was wow. its a solid beefy piece. Its quality built!

one of my favorite parts on this coil over. the bulky easy to use locking collar design. the allen locks it so it doesn’t move. adjusting is such a breeze with the bigger supplied wrench. it doesn’t slip like many over coil overs I’ve had over the years. Dialing in the height was a breeze

after getting everything dialed in and a few test rides to make sure everything is tight and good to go. i went and got an alignment

all in all its a great coil over IMO. its solid and built well. i have yet to mess with the dampening. its set on soft and it rides good. it rides a lot better than many many coil overs I’ve ran in the past. i Highly recommend giving them a shot if you haven’t! thanks for looking. if you guys have any questions feel free to ask me

 

The way the review is written makes it seem like you're either a vendor of these products or you're being compensated for running them.

Nothing wrong with that. But if you are, you really should make that fact plain. Its not exactly an unbiased review at that point.

If you aren't endorsing a product that you have interest in selling....or you weren't being paid in some way to write this review, I'll be very surprised.

 

I would like to here more about this setup and your impression after riding on them for a while now.

These coilovers look like a typical - if not cheap - set to me.

 

You mentioned that you've tried many types of coilovers but don't mention specifically which ones. So far the best bang for your setup for $1,000 has been the Tein Flex Z or Ground Control/Tokico Illumina's. The Flex Z is relatively new to the market but so far everything about the Flex Z has been positive too. This review only covered the aspect of how it looks and it's locking/adjustment capabilities. What about warranty information? Is it better than the lifetime warranty you get with, Koni, Bilstein, Ground Control or Tokico? Shipping took you two days, what about shipping to Canada or Int? I'm only assuming you live in the states according to your profile. Shipping within the country is always 2 -5 days. I'm not totally convinced on these coilovers but more information can shed light onto the unknown. How many ways of damping do they allow? Some go only 5 ways, others 36 or more. What about price? You're missing a lot of key factors into what makes a good review mate. No offense.
