I replaced the VTC actuator on my 2008 Accord this weekend. The process went very smooth and the engine runs great. It certainly eliminated the rattle on a cold start. My issue is that I am getting an error from the cam position sensor and the cruise control will not engage. Not sure if they are related but the cruise worked prior to my repair. I am unclear why I am getting the cam position error. You can clear the code and drive it but the next time you start the engine it returns. Thanks for your help.
