Default 15x8 +20 offset

Tried searching but cant to seem to find a good answer as most users are dropped my car has no drop at all
I need to get some new rims / tire set up for my turbo build.

Im looking at 15x8 +20 rims if i can run a 205 tire that would be great. Possibly go with 195
+20 is the highest offset I have found in the style I am looking at.

any recommendations as far as clearance with that amount of offset whats the widest tire I can run?

98 CIVIC HX

Thanks I think your right.....Not sure the width of my current rims but I believe the offset is probably closer to the correct offset. Hopefully the wider tire will work on my current rims

I think 15x7 +35 is biggest you can go, while low, without stance and or rolling fenders.

Thats what i'm looking for at least. 00 ej8

I am not dropped but I might want a small drop in the future for suspension performance. Would be nice to have that option, I can roll fenders if needed. Kinda sux I cant find the specs of my current rims. I would guess they are 15x7 +35 but Im a complete noob when it comes to rims I was never into stance or anything just looking for improved traction.

brand is HAVOC I have heard they are ROTA knock offs

I have stock 15in Honda steels. 205/50-r15's fit perfect. You don't need fancy rims for a 205. Cheapo 15in Honda steels not only fit the car perfectly, but fit a 205/50 perfectly.

I wouldn't worry so much about tire width, rather tire compound. a 185 extreme performance tire is going to provide more traction than a 205 summer tire. You could fit the 15x8s but you would need fender rolling and possibly a little pulling.

If you get a 15x8 run a 205 smallest or preferably a 225. A 195 is meant for a 15x7
