I have a 94 eg with a stock ls, about a month ago I was on my way to work and I got into it a little and I notice my car didn't have much power and it won't hit rev, when it does get up there it cuts out. I've replaced the tps, map, plugs and wires, fuel filter, and injectors. My dizzy has no cracks on the buttons. I notice I have a obd2 Mani but I figured that would not effect anything. I'm throwing a #3 and #5 code. The light will stay off sometimes for a short period of time, but it's usually on when you first start it. I'm just trying to get it fixed so I can trade it off or sell it.

 

follow the service manual trouble shooting procedures for cel 3 and 5...?

 

Recheck your codes because there isn't a code 5. Not sure if it's related or not but a clogged cat/exhaust will cause the intake to sound "loud."

 

Also if you have a flex pipe on your car check that also.. but like 92cxturbo said typically a louder than normal intake is a exhaust restriction..
