I have 2009 Honda Civic lx that I bought back in January. From about January to May this problem never surfaced, but when the weather started getting hot (I live in Florida) it's just gotten progressively worse. Whenever I start my civic and it's been sitting in the sun my dashboard doesn't work (temp gauge completely off, speedometer sits at 0 mph, rpm stays at 0, and A/C blows hot air). This problem never arises at night when it cools down but almost always occurs when it has been parked and off sitting outside when the suns out. Does anyone have an idea of what the issue is? I've searched everywhere and can't find someone with a similar case. Another note, it will never go off if I'm driving and occasionally it will kick back on.
