Do Auto pm6 ecus exist?
I have read people claim that all pm6 in the US are manual 5 speed.
In this thread. https://honda-tech.com/honda-crx-ef-...trans-3251232/ one of the responders says they are out there, the auto pm6. Well, i pulled a pm6 from a rt4wd wagon that was automatic. I read the rt4wd wagons had a stand alone ecu to control the transmission shifting, and that they use manual pm6 ecus. BUT this wagon had a sohc zc, will probably came with the ecu from japan, which maybe there might have been auto pm6s over there?? I have 3 pm6s, 2 i know are manual, L09 and L130 are the last numbers. But this pm6 from the wagon is L520, isnt it 0-4 manual and 5-9 auto?
Is there a resistor inside to check if it controls the torque converter?

Ok so having both ecus open side by side, the l520 ecu ( which i think is auto) has a resistor up top in IC17, which i think is next to the injectors. Then the only other different spots i noticed was Q11 and C31 in the L520 ecu. Could one of these be for the torque converter?
the only way i know how to tell them apart is the resistors, its been a long time since i converted anything from auto to manual. i think there are pm6's that are auto, they just did not exist in the US market. if you cant find it on google lay the ecus out with cases open and compare...what was the ecu code that was in the auto wagon anyway?
