Default factory stereo removal question

How do I remove the plastic "pocket/cavity" below the stereo on my 99 Prelude? I'm getting to perform an XM radio install and need to pull the factory head unit. Thanks.

Its not hard at all.. first remove the plastic center peice.. its mounted to your dash by clips on the inside so you will have to use a flat head screwdriver to pry it out.. (be gentle seeing as though you dont want to crack it or scratch it seeing as though you will have to put this back on and it is visible..) anyhow, once that peice is off you will see the bracket that the radio and pocket assembly is mounted on.. it is held in place by two screws.. remove those two screws and the entire radio / pocket assembly can be removed... should all be down hill from there...

actually its 4 screws that hold the whole assembly in....the top and bottom sections.
there are about 2 more screw that come from the sides that hold that bottom pocket to the frame

Yeah well either way whether its two or four screws, once you get the first peice off it becomes apparent as to how many screws you have to remove in order to get the assembly out...
