1992CB9 brief rattling sound at idle
Hi everyone,
So I have a 1992 Honda Accord Wagon and I'm getting a weird rattle vibration noise coming from the front of the car. I can hear it really good in drive thrus but it only happens sometimes and for a really short period of time. I ran over a huge rock in the road that hit the bottom of my car furiously like a month ago and that's when I started noticing it. I also had the complete exhaust replaced like a week before I hit the stupid rock. Anyways... I was wondering what you guys think. Could it be from the rock or maybe the exhaust needs to be tightened? Maybe the rock hit my exhaust system somewhere? Maybe it hit something else under there? I'm not sure. Sounds like it's coming from the front driver side but I can only hear it when in drive thrus at idle. Can also hear a slight vibration/rattle coming from driver side front wheel when turning, again only can hear it sometimes, usually when turning out of driveway. What could the rock hit that would cause this? Tried to ask my mechanic he said he couldn't hear it. I'm waiting to get oil changed to have them look under. It seems every time I get rid of one noise I get another. haha but I love my 23 year old wagon, she's rare and I can't sleep at night until I fix this. So I appreciate the help. Thanks!
