Rattling Sound of Death! H4LP!
Okay maybe not of death... but it sounds bad.
Greetingssss Honda Technicians,
My name is BankSea and I have an integra :D with a ugly rattling sound coming from the engine ;_; see check out for yourself!
note: sound around 2,500RPM range which can be heard around other ranges and also Bonus: the whistling sound when the car is powered off
https://youtu.be/4uLE2oAF12I
any help, guidance or advice would be appreciated :D
I just got the teg ~2 months ago, but not sure if the problem started before or after I got it. I did bottom out once, accidented over a curb. It was really slow so IDk if that's what did it.
anyway, thanks every juan!
Thanks YALL!

If your using a stock header, this is the sound that I'm familiar with when a piece of the inside of the header right next to the collector where it would bolt up to the cat breaks off. It needs to be welded, you have to remove the header and take it to a muffler shop and they will weld it back. I had the same sound my self a few years ago. I bet when you bottomed out the piece inside broke.
The whistle sound is usually normal when you have a aftermarket intake or manifold when the engine is shut off it will have a whistle sound.

thank you for the input you two.
wunfstgsr, I'm thinking kill two stones with one bird and maybe get after market headers. Before I bottomed out I would [and still] get an 'airy' sound coming from the engine area, which my guess would be an exhaust leak. so maybe it would fix that too?

Get a better sound clip but I'm sure its just the air surging out the air filter, check the air box for a loose filter but thats a common sound when the engine shuts off. Yea grab a DC header if you can find one for your year there street legal and a good option to replace the OEM unit. Other wise most after market manifolds will require some modification to the exhaust piping they usually arent bolt on and go even though some claim too like knock off brands especially.
