Default erratic idle speed, 2000-1000 rpm, any adjustments??

My O2 sensor is currently out of commission. the wires were severed. After the O2 sensor went out my ECU/PGFI system went into open loop operation. While in open loop my idle speed stayed at about 1500. Which is obviously too high. During which time my alternator went out and I replaced it. Now that everything is back together and running well my idle speed jumps from 2 g's to 1. O2 sensor is still not in use. does anyone know how to adjust the idle speed to keep it consistently at 750?? or is it even possible sense i'm not running an 02 sensor. and before everyone trips out about me not running an 02 sensor don't worry I'm running a test pipe so it's not like i'm murdering my catalytic converter. it is safely stored in the garage awaiting the next smog inspection. along with the stock exhaust manifold. but if anyone has any ideas or resources I can check out about adjusting my idle speed I would greatly appreciate it, thank you!

Are you running a EMS like hondata? or stock ecu? if stock ecu, put back the o2 sensor.
