Default Choosing a Motor....

Hey guys. I have a 2000 Honda si coupe. I blew up the motor that was in there before. Now I'm stuck at a stand between 2 motors. A B16a fully worked running a t3/t4 turbo set up. A K24 block with a K20 head running high compression at all motor. I already have a 1995 Acura integra LSVTEC fully worked all motor running high 11s but I can't decide. See where I am from everyone know me as the ALL MOTOR MAN. If I use the turbo it will me my first time using it but if I use the K24 block with K20 head idk what problems I'll run into. Get back to me asap. Thank you

First of all I wanta see the specs and time sheet of a all motor lsvtec running 11s? And i feel like if you could built such a thing you would already have a answer for your self.

K swaps are way more involved and way more cash.

You see people always talk highly about K motors but honestly I know nothing about K's I don't know what compression to set it at, idk what internals work the best, I never took the time of day to even think of K motors. All I ever messed with was B's so I don't want to buy a K, build it and waste all that money when I could of just build a B and get the same amount of power and the motor can handle just as much beating as a K. I'm just asking

lmaooo a b series beating a k for less money? not even maybe that engine family is heavily outdated. A bone stock k20a2 with just k-pro can put into the 220whp i'd love to see a b series even hit 190whp bone stock. There's 800+whp stock sleeve K's you can look on the FI forum to see, good luck even getting above 550 on stock sleeves with a B. N/A or F/I K series is the thing now, sure you can sleeve a b-series and turbo it but the amount of work it needs vs a k20 is laughable. Everyone is always scared of the initial cost of the swap and the work involved if you're aware of how to work on a car and do some basic welding/drilling etc it's easy.

That car will hold what's left of it's value better if you put in another B16. Otherwise it'll just be another hackjob swap like most of the other remaining EM1s.
