Default accord 01 no dash parking, visor lights

Hello,

I been reading on how to fix this issue and my mechanic himself is having a hard time. I originally switched the interior lights to led's in the doors, visors, and cabin. I went back to switch them back to the stock lights on kust the cabin and visor and when I was replacing the led on the drivers visor i noticed the stock light was not working. Then i realized my dash light was gone, and my parking lights too.

I had all the fuses checked, they are good. The ones under the hood are fine too including relays.

He went around with the volt meter and got no current from the drivers visor where the bulb goes.

He moved the relays too to see if the was the case and nothing.

Last night driving home, I realized the now the taillights are out but when I break they work. The mechnic took all the fuses under the hood and put them back adter he was done testing for current.

Where should we start?

Thanks!

What trim level is the car?

I'd start with the #10 fuse in the pass side under dash fuse box (10 or 15 amp depending on coupe/sedan)

The EX trim has a tail light relay in the pass under dash fuse box. I'd test the relay and inputs to it when the head lights are on.

Update: PROBLEM SOLVED!

My lic. plate fuse needed to be replaced...not part of the main problem (I don't think)...

My tech decided to disconnect the battery and check all the fuses. When we connected it solved all the problems.

Any idea why this happened?

The fuse that protects the license plate light is passenger under-dash Fuse No. 10, which is the small light fuse and was related to your main problem...
