Default Painting sideskirts?

What's the best way to paint them? I was thinking of just getting some tafetta white duplicolor and clear coat and just painting them like that, do I have to sand down the side skirts? Was also thinking of just plastidipping white but I don't know if that would look tacky. Anybody have any experience on this?

Can barely see them here

One of these days, you kids will figure out the difference between tech and appearance.

Use adhesion promoter made for plastic, follow the instructions, and go to town.

I need to live in a non-salt belt state where there isn't rust.

If the side skirt is textured then you'll have a hell of a time prepping to get the paint to stick. If it is smooth and not primered then you will need an adhesion promotor on any and all raw plastics. You can take a rag with thinner and wipe the side skirt to see if the color wipes off onto the rag.. if it does then it has a primer on it. If it has a primer then just sand it down with a 400-600 and paint it with letting the first coat flash enough so it bites into the plastic.
