Whats up guys, since I got my Lude. Ive been trying to do replace the valve cover gasket but there's one thing stopping me. Its the nut for the ground wires from the alternator that run over the top of the valve cover. I cannot get that nut off without it twisting the ground wires too. & I dont wanna mess up anything in my bay. Theres almost no clearance for me to even get my rachet/socket in there to loosen the nut. But anyone have an idea of what im talking about let me know, its right in front of the fan. Thanks

 

Just be creative, hold the wires in place with some pliers or something. As long as you don't pull them hard enough to do any damage you should be fine.

 

I tried something like that but it just wasnt working. Everytime I get close to a full rotation on the nut, it looks like the wire covering or the wiring is gonna snap. I dont even know what those wires are for so I def dont wanna mess those up
