ABS delete ?
Dup guys, Im thinking bout eventually deleting my abs but I wanna hear from people who have good knowledge on it or have done it to their ludes. My light doesnt even come on the dash so idek if my abs works or not. Let me know guys, thanks

You have a 5th gen right?

So far as I know they only came with abs, so it is not as cut and dry of an idea. The 4th gens had models without abs, so you can find all of the stock parts for a known setup with proper bias and valving etc.

Where there is a will I am sure you could do it with custom lines, a proportioning valve and master cylinder from a different car etc.

Your light may be burnt out, covered with tape to pass inspection etc. Hard to know unless you can find a good test situation where you can brake hard enough to lock up the wheels completely. If the abs does not cycle, and you can lock them up, it is not working.

Keep in mind that if you remove a working abs system, you are disabling a safety feature, which could have negative impact on an insurance claim or court case in the event of an accident, resale value of the car etc.

ABS has it's benefits, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Pull the cluster, check the bulb, replace it if needed and check the system using the blue 2 pin connector under the passengers dash.
If you have access to a decent scan tool you could also just plug it up and check the system that way no matter if the bulb works or not.
