cleaning A/C filter, what the heck is this?
Was checking my a/c air filter and found a small pile of black/grey foam. Obviously either a gasket has deteriorated or a rodent has made a mess, either way I don't know where to start and don't have the time for a full tear-down...so this may have to wait.
The photo is just a sample, there was a lot more.
Is anyone familiar with this particular foam and/or know where it might have come from?
