itr master cyl in a eg
Okay, I've got the master cylinder now and the bolts are diagonal on the civic booster where they need to be level to use the itr master cylinder. So I guess this means I'm going to need the itr brake booster as well?
Just curious why you're doing this?
A 91 EX 15/16" master will bolt right on to your EG brake booster. much better option. I can take a pic to prove it. No bending lines. No brake booster swap. Bench bleed it. Bolt it up. BOOM done.

^ This. The 15/16" is really the best option for this chassis. There is virtually no difference in pedal travel from the 1".
Some later GS-Rs had the 1" cylinder as well. At this point it's probably easier to find an aftermarket replacement than track down a 15-20 year old booster of questionable condition.

This. Along with itr calipers and stainless lines the pedal feels the best I've felt on an old Honda.
Does the brake booster not wear? I have a 95 Si that I'm restoring and just wanted to do everything right. If I don't have to worry about the booster going out, I would much rather go the easy way.
Yes they do wear. There is a rubber diaphragm inside that eventually will leak. More commonly a bad master cylinder leaks some fluid into it at some point in its life, stripping the paint and allowing it to rust.
