Need advice - lost car keys.
So I'm not really a car guy whatsoever but I found this forum and knew you guys would be able to help. I'm in a very bad spot and don't know what to do.
I purchased my gen 5 2001 honda prelude a little over a year ago and just earlier today I was at a mall, left my keys at the register, came back and they were apparently 'no where to be found.'
I was sold this vehicle with only one set of keys, and when I went to go and get new keys with my current one as backups, I was told they needed the infamous 'red ignition key.' Funny thing is, the guy who sold me the car never gave me anything like that.
So now I have no keys and I'm totally lost. No idea what to do. Any tips?

Call your local Honda dealership. Tell them you lost your keys. Have your car towed in, have them make you keys, and re-program with all keys lost. You'll need your vehicle registration and ID.
