Icon5 Requirements For Doing k20 with Auto Trans into Integra

thanks for taking the time to read...

i have a 1994 Acura Integra 5 Speed Manual!

the stock LS motor is junk in it so i took it out.

i happen to buy a 2003 Acura RSX (AUTOMATIC) for really cheap and the motor and (auto) transmission are in healthy condition, but the body of the car is smashed.

i would like to take out the motor swap out of it and install it into my 1994 Integra (manual)

i have read alot of different posts with K20 swap being performed to integras and civics...

but have not figured out or found a post yet with a K20 with Automatic transmission into a integra thread yet.

- What is all required for me to get this done! i would really appreciate as much help as possible and really excited to do this swap!

Have fun with k-pro and that auto trans....that's why there's nothing on it and the fact emissions would be absolutely undoable if that's a thing where you are. Just ditch the auto trans and get a 5mt it's not that much more work, then it's doable other wise it starts and end with K-PRO you cant run an auto trans off k-pro. And before you think you can use your rsx ecu how are you going to mount the auto shifter in a 5MT car...let alone all the wiring. You're just here trolling this topic pops up a few times a year by kids who have no experience with any real cars, or you wouldn't ask something so dumb.

all those posts are 5/6mt swaps not auto..

I don't understand why you'd put all that time effort and money for an automatic..... an auto-manual conversion I can understand... but the other way around? eww WHY??!!?

This will require a custom mount for the rsx automatic as well as additional wiring for the tiptronic shifting and shifter. This isn't some walk in the park and if you're here asking on how to do it than its best to know that not a lot of people have done it. This wil require you to take this project on your own by using just the basics of swapping a k into the integra BUT also wiring up the automatic part. You'll also need to find a way to have your speedo, tach, and temp sensors read properly on your cluster because I'm sure you'll need to use the original ecu. Since you'll need to use the original ecu that means you'll need to find a way around the immobilizer ( which cannot be discussed here for security purposes ).

As you can see you have a lot to think about:

1. experience in swapping motors
2. wiring experience ( able to read diagrams and understand terminology )
3. timeframe ( when do you expect to have this done )
4. Funding to do the swap ( because swaps don't always go as planned within the budget you expect to stay in )

Reply back when you run into issues, and not ask about how to "blah blah blah, etc...etc...etc.."
