My e-brake light comes on if rev hard in the 5000-Redline area. This happens in every gear. It just started last night. No electrical work has been done on my care in 2 months. Anyone know why or how this is possible. Thanks for your help.

and if brake fluid is full, the sensor in the cap might be bad. (cheap to replace the cap if that is what's causing it)

 

Its a message from God telling you to slow down man !!!! hahahaha !!! Just kidding, do the fluid check.

 

You're alternator might be going bad. My e-brake light came on when my alternator was bad, once vtec hits, it goes off.

 

i had some what the same prob. it was the fluid!

 

Thanks for the help, I just did check the fluid and it is very low, alomst at MIN line. I'll fill 'er up. I should be paying more attention to my fluids.....

 

my radio cuts off at high revs sometimes, anybody ever had that problem?

 

Sounds like alternator? What about your headlights?

 

i have noticed them getting dimmer, probably alternator huh?

 

I'd bet on the battery dying out before the alternator.

 

check those pads out. If it's that low and nothing is leaking than the pads are nearing the end of their life.
