Default Advice Needed: Wiring harnesses (alarm, starter, etc.)

Just got my ITR about 2 months ago. It came installed with an aftermarket sound system, alarm, and remote starter. I want to keep the car simple with Honda parts, so I pulled all of it out today.

Unfortunately, the installation of the aftermarket alarm and remote start required cutting into the stock wire harnesses.

What would you recommend I do?
  • Purchase new harnesses? This might put me in over my head since it would be replacing more than just directly what was cut into.
  • Splice the wires back together?
  • Leave it?

I attached pictures of the wiring monstrosity I am left with.

If don't want that aftermarket alarm the ignition switch is easy to swap,
you car is equipped with a factory alarm. If need factory remotes I can get those, can be ordered and will have factory keyless

Yeah, I think I'm going to just order new parts, including a new ignition switch.

Thanks for the offer. The OEM alarm and remotes are working well.

I would drop the ~$40 on a new OEM ignition switch. Search used and you can sometimes find a used dash harness for cheap. The chassis harness can be difficult to locate and replace.
