ok i have a 1994 honda accord manual non vtec. the trans didnt have 3rd gear. so i still had almost everything from a prelude manual swap. so took the trans that came out of a 00 prelude base. was told it was a good trans but took me so long to use it warranty is gone. all gears work except for revese. if i pull it into reverse i feel the little lip and nothing. but if i pull hard on it then will make a grinding sound like going forward trying to go into reverse. someone told me that i need to use the shifter and cables because they are a different length. just wondering if that is the case or did i just get screwed on a transmission. and ideas yall?
