G'day all I have just bought a 95 accord. And the speedo does not work. Also I have the D4 light flashing along with but not all the time engine fault light comes on after a few klms then goes off when it feels like it. I'm a pensioner so $ are tight and try to fix things myself. I would appreciate any advice given thankyou

 

easy fix, its the vehicle speed sensor, or VSS, same thing happened to me and 13USD sensor from amazon did the job, and clear the flashing D4 and check engine light.

 

Find the blue two wire connector on your car. Depending on where you are located the diagnostic connector is located in different position for different region Accords.

Jumper the two wire connector with a paperclip, turn the ignition to II(ON) and count the blinks from the CEL and D4 lamps. Longer blinks are multiples of 10, shorter ones are multiples of 1.
