D16Z6 running on P2P ecu
From what I have found online, I didn't think it was possible to run a d16z6 on an OBD2 ecu due to timing issues. I have recently picked up a 98 civic sedan that has been swapped to a z6 from a 94 si by the previous owner and it seems to be running on the P2P ecu.
I have pulled out the ecu from under the kick panel and there is no OBD2-OBD1 jumper harness attached. I was hoping to find a P28 attached to do a small tune on, but there was only the P2P and ABS control unit.
I would just like to know if it is possible to run the z6 on a OBD2 ecu.

Well I know on my em1 I was having the same issue. And I threw a code for iacv idle air control valve. U can try cleaning. Reset battery. If it still remains. I've seen some on sale for like 40$.
I'm not worried about the code, I was just wondering how my OBD1 motor is running on an OBD2 ecu
