Radio/ciggerete not working! Not fuse!!
Hello, 96 Honda Accord. Plugged a 12v adapter into cig lighter. Started smoking. Took it out. Bad tube in the adapter. Now my lighter n radio is not working!!!! I check fuses under hood/interior, not blown, not cracked. I undid terminals to try to reset, nothing happened. Just replaced cig lighter as well. All wires seem to be fine. Not burnt or anything like that. Any info would be awesome. Please help. I need my radio back
I did, it was slightly discolored. Didn't look burnt or blown. I'll change it any ways to see. What's the cig lighter relay? Will the radio fuse effect the cig lighter?
The radio fuse shouldn't actually affect the cig. lighter, it's more to narrow the issue down. The relay is just behind the cigarette lighter on the right side i think, it's a little plastic box with wht/yel, red/wht, wht/red and blk wires going into it.

if you can't get this let me know.
No problem man, this is the service manual, on page 1250(23-230) it shows where the relay is, on 1252(23-232) it shows how to test the cigarette lighter, and on 1092(23-72) it shows how to test the actual relay. Plus, you'll absolutely love having this thing around for any other problems.
edit: you'll need a multi-meter in case you don't have one.
