Question on fuel lines. i am in the process of replacing the "ghetto-fied" lines on the tegra. i bought a new fuel feed line (part number 12 on the list). part of my fuel return line has been hacked up, but since it is discontinued according to the list below, i'm going to leave the repair that is on there as is. the last people that owned the car cut out a rusted section and replaced it with fuel injection hose and fuel injection hose clamps. now onto the last one, pipe number 13 on the list, the vent pipe. can anyone tell me if that line is like the others and is like your standard brake line type metal pipe? i'm not sure what it is supposed to be, but on my car it is a soft rubber line, i'm really thinking that it is not supposed to be....
for that big vent line, i just cut out the worst rusty section and replace it with some fuel hose (non efi) if u can find it if not use heater hose. it might not be the proper thing to do but its been holding up for a few years so far.

it looks like it is vacuum line right now. i'll have to see what it looks like in the engine bay, i didnt trace it up there yet. i'll try and snap a pic tonight. who knows how long it has been like this, it may be fine. but i have the car so torn apart right now it would probably be stupid not to replace it now rather than when the car is all back together.

i snapped a few pics the best i could in my dark garage.
its the one hanging down, closest in the picture

here it is about midway up the car, i pulled it down so you can see its a rubber line

and here it is at the front of the car. rubber overtop of a metal line. looks like i undercoated over it, so it may be a little hard to see. so it looks like it is metal at the engine bay but goes to rubber just past the firewall. is it supposed to be metal the whole way back? it makes sense to me that it would be.

its all supposed to be metal but it's a quick fix it would be way more dangerous if it were brake lines think why ppl upgrade to stainless(braided). But if you're doing new lines just look at it as **** happens no harm came of it.
