I started having a problem with my car yesterday. I get full power with the key in, but when I try to start the car I get nothing. But I can jump the starter from the signal wire to the battery with a wire and the car proceeds to run like normal. I thought that maybe it was the ignition switch, so I went this morning and replaced it with a new one. Same thing, no starter. I tried to jump the clutch pedal switch yesterday but I may try doing that again to completely eliminate that. But after that I am lost for ideas other than wiring up a button to get by.

 

Did it not work, or did you not have a chance to fully test it?

 

Clutch switch or start cut relay.

 

Did the pedal rubber stopper fall out? That's a more common issue for no crank.

 

True, he will still have to go down there anyways, very tight spot considering the location is the furthest up.
