I've done some looking around and couldn't find a definitive answer so im hoping someone can point me in the right direction, I have a 99 coupe that is wrecked and will soon be gone to the scrap yard, While looking for a replacement shell I ended up picking up a very clean 96 hatch...Maybe time for a name change....Naaaa ChrisHatch just doesn't sound as good lol. The hatch's interior in particular the dash is a whole lot of meh and the wiring may end up being a bit of a mess, From what ive read 96-00 interiors can be swapped either way coupe to coupe, hatch to hatch but i didn't see a solid answer on coupe to hatch or vice versa. So does anyone know if its all more or less swapable? anything in particular I should know or be careful of?

 

dash harness isnt the same, iirc, i know for sure the climate control wiring is different. back seats don't fit either. you may have to swap the dash and floor harness for it to work properly. im sure someone else will chime in
