Looks like it was leaking oil but the car was hit so it must have been running. It is a d16a1? I never heard of this my friends went out and found it and asked me cause I am the local "honda Guy" they all own VW's. Is it a dohc head? and can it be used on my d16y7 or z6 blocks?

okay so I found out what it is, now is it worth anything?
I have a 98 hatch with a y7 and I am swapping for a z6 head now. I have all the standard items CAI/H/E and a 60 shot. Can I use this head? will it produce more power than the z6 head? Or should i leave it for the junk yard gods?

 

no you can't use the head, it's DOHC. BUT, get that engine and throw the pistons and rods in your car. The rods can handle more power, and the pistons will raise your compression due to the more dome shaped construction.
