Crank Pulley
I was just woundering is there an after market crank pulley i can buy for my b16 because i dont want to use the stock one with p.s and a/c slots on it.....
And if i do get an after market crank pulley will i still need to bang out the frame wall?
Aem pulleys
any others?

No aftermarket pulley is worth getting for a Honda.
Doesn't the ITR pulley only have one set of grooves for the alternator only?
Maybe try to get one of those, it should bolt up just fine since they're both B series motors.

You will still need to put the dent into the frame wall regardless of what pulley you use. Your alternator won't fit if you don't. Honda does have a pulley that just turns the alternator. It's a CTR N1 pulley. I think Inlinefour and jdmhondaparts sell it.
yup, if you're looking for factory, the ctr one isd yours. I have a Unorthodox Racing Pulley, I have no idea if it was worth it or not, but I didn't trust my busted up crank pulley that came with my swap.
Although Bseries, the ITR will not work. Oddly it's the only b series that will not work with the b16a (even b18c1 either I think). I believe u would have to use the B17A one (92-93 gsr). Not too sure about the pulleys designed for the B16A2 or the B18C1
unorthodox racing makes a crank pulley for just the alternator. got one on my car cost about $150.00 works just fine unless you start going over 250hp then it can start to blow up your oil pump. there is no rubber in between the teeth to act like regular stock crank pulley/harmonic balancer
only got mine because when my motor was shipped the pulley was chipped

There's a guy on ebay selling aluminum underdrive crank pulleys for d-series, I didn't notice whether he had any for b-series or not. Might be worth a look.
Underdrive crank pulleys actually have the potential to do more harm than god for the motor...... unless they have a harmonic balancer in them (pretty sure NONE of the aftermarkets do) DO NOT get one, unless you like the idea of possibly throwing a rod through the block. The stock pulley is designed to keep the crank in a constant, smooth rotational spin, and the rubber balancer inside is what keeps it like that. The extra rotational mas on the stock pulley is actually what keeps your pistons from hitting the cylinder walls, etc. IF the crank has even the SLIGHTEST wobble, it can eventually lead to a catstrophic engine failure...... no BS.
I'd definitely stay away from aftermarket crank pulleys....... the companies conveniently forget to tell you WHY they dont have harmonic balancers in them....

The crank pulley on my motor(b16) was all messed up when I got my swap too, there were big chunks from the AC and the power steering parts of the pulley, since I was not going to use either one of these on my car I just brought the crank pulley to a machine shop and had them remove the two unused sections of the pulley, thus leaving me with basically a N1 crank pulley. The best thing about the whole deal is that it still has the rubber dampening material in the pulley that is so important and it only cost me 15 dollars and 20 minutes of my time to have done.
