I need a set of oem style headlights for 98 integra.
Anyone can comment on their quality before and now if anything improved in their design over the years

Especially the light distribution and proper high beam bulb oem not h1 or whatever

 

Just get some OEM headlights from a junkyard/Craigslist/Ebay.

I need clean not faded or "restored"
Getting the paint done now need to be mint condition. And most are not mint

 

There are alot floating around... when i dont need them
There were about 20 integras at pick and pull in last 6 months.
Until i crashed. Now theres nothing anywhere. It happens alot.

 

With some high grit sandpaper and polishing compound you can make almost any headlights that aren't completely destroyed look perfect.

 

its not same.
theres a protective layer like gorilla glass on cellphone.
it keeps it from yellowing.
once that's gone it will keep turning yellow every 6 months.

please stop with suggestions im asking a specific question if anyone knows...


I want to know if anyone has experience with aftermarket lights and the light output of the " oem style" and the typical halo ones.
are there beter worse. or are they better in general from 10 years ago or still same or worse

droppin that knowledge bruh, had rep jdm 'black housing" on my ek when I was 17 they fit fine and looked great, the ebay tegg ones all seem to have sketchy projectors in them tho. or those "angel eyes"

those halo lights suck ***** when I had them in 2006 and I don't know if they have any improvement over the years.
but from what I see on the pictures they are same.

but I never had a chance to use the OEM STYLE ones from ebay and would like to know if anyone compared them to OEM light output.

 

Actually there is a way to to reclear your headlights. Try the link below. Alot of retrofitters have done this method and it works out fine.

Im gonna try this when i get my car back from the paint shop. OP i posted those ebay oem lights in case you wanted oem lights since you said you cant find any, they look like there in good condition, a touch up or the method above should make them new but if you have oem lights id give this method a try!

 

Yea i know about restoring i do it at work.
Its a hit and miss on used headlights.
Mine never came out clear the plastic was damaged.
