Default ebay headlight + OEM headlight....work??

alright, i f'ed up my stock headlights on my 00 civic and i want jdm oem ctr's but cant afford it. i know that the ebay headlights are shitty because of the lighting and how they will just scramble, and then leak. I was thinking, if i put my oem headlight thing, the thing that holds the bulb and reflects the light, into an ebay headlight and then sealed it??? wouldnt it be as good as oem lighting wise? and it wouldnt break my bank....

i thinks it'll be easier and cheaper for you to just buy a used oem one and do the diy city lights/bronze housing if you want the ctr look

I just had the same idea today, as i am unhappy with my cheap cop out choice on headlights... I mainly bought because i got sick of the discolouring of my stockers. IMO it will work.

I just need yet ANOTHER set of headlights to swap internals with so i dont have any "downtime". Well, ither that or someone else give it a try ant let us know
