Car won't start. What could it be?
I have a 93 civic with and 96 H22a prelude swap. So my car was sitting for a while and hadn't been turned on in maybe a week or so. When I went to turn it on and drive it, it wouldn't start. It still beeped and the lights on the dash came on. I jumped it with my mom's car and it turned on. I let it run for 20 or so minutes but as soon as I turned it off, it wouldn't turn on again. Then my friend jumped my car for me, there was a spark and some smoke. When I went to turn it on, nothing came on, not even the lights on the dash. Today I put a new battery in it and still nothing came on. Any suggestions?
You burned up a wire, check your fuse box in the engine bay, and the charge wired coming from the alternator to the fuse box.
And check your 70amp fuse, its the first to go when a backfeed happens.
