i accidentally left my parking lights on this morning before school(i was rushing, had like 5 mins till bell)so i just ran and forgot to turn them off. i WAS going to go to lunch and i tried to start it and tick tick tick...nothing. i was like **** *****! so i ate here. do you guys think that by the end of the day(3ish) itll have some juice to start it....? need help, i really dont want to jump my car with my dads...need help now..only have like 40 more minutes in this class until im gone to the next one.

 

Well, it may be too late to help you now, but if your car isnt an automatic, it should be really easy to bump start. Just get someone to help push, turn on the ignition, put it in 2nd or 3rd gear, and let the clutch out real fast so it turns the engine overe, and then push it back in real fast. Repeat until car starts or you stop rolling. If you have an auto, you gotta get a jump start.

 

hey...well i went out there about 25 mins after i posted that and it started just by itself...so i ran it for about 10 mins. parked it again. and its good to go. thanks hondaguy for your help anyway

 

No prob. The same thing happened to my Civic. Left the lights on, let it sit an hour or two, and it started right up.
