so i just pick up this 04 tsx from a costumer that declined the repairs on my dealer , i gave him $800 needs a engine bottom end has a rod knock , how ever i have ak24a4 from a 04 accord that i replaced last summer the k24a4 was consuming oil and i had allready replaced the timing chain 2 times until the 3rd the costumer decided to replace the engine, now i have been doing research and apparently the A2 head will not work on the A4 block because the might be some contact with the pistons and the valves .
i dont have 1800 for a junk yard motor is there any ways to make this work ? .

 

Sell the car for WAY more than you bought it for. Thats option 1.

I do see K24A2's for the $1100 range from time to time. Is that in your price range?

Or maybe take a look at the bottom end and see if you can fix it? Maybe its just a rod bearing... and it needs a crank and one rod bearing to be OK.
