So I've been wanting to do the SiR front on my hatchback for awhile now, but have been having little luck finding more than bits and pieces scattered all over. Are full conversions almost extinct these days? Seems like I've been seeing more and more converted cars lately. Where is everyone finding this stuff? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Worst case scenario is you need to piece out the conversion with eBay parts from outside the US. It's possible, just need a bit more legwork that normal to get it done.
there is this website i've been on for years it's called jrautoparts.com
they ghad everything dirt cheap I went the shop personaly and bought a right sir bumper lense and sir lip and paid $300 they sell the whole EF9 SiR for 1500 it even comes with the front bronze glass they are renovating their website right now

Most of the JDM front ends these days are busted up and way overpriced. I didn't pay nearly as much as today's prices. If I had to do it over I would stay USDM.
Good Luck
My advice. STAY USDM
1. when you change it over-> you will have it look nice ->until you hit a deer, then -> you will be looking for replacement parts all over again, BECAUSE insurance will only pay for oem type parts. DON't DO it
2. when the old lady next to you rams your new JDM front, she will destroy it . See 1 ^
3.you crap will get jacked or your car will be MIA. SEE 1 above ^
4. Something along those lines
5. OEM fits better anyway. USDM fits. JDM needs tweeks. have fun tweeking and it still won't fit RIGHT
6. If you think it is difficult now to source your parts for it, wait til you get hit (see #1) and then you will be trying to source parts a second time around. Good LUCK

Yea I've thought about the potential for accidents making repairs miserable. More and more looking like I might just stay usdm. Do the SiR style carbon hoods VIS and seibon have fit decent?

Its a weekend fun car so I'm not overly worried about hurrying or any down time. If I can find everything at a decent price and not trashed I'll do it, but its nothing I'm going to lose sleep over. I'm currently in the middle of finishing my turbo build, and while everything is apart I was planning on some bodywork and paint. Figured now's the best time to dig around for a front. I've just been slow getting it all done, lack of time more than anything lol..
